Leitzell wants county commission seat

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Mayor Gary Leitzell is planning to run for Montgomery County Commission.

We talked with the outgoing mayor Wednesday.  He says he will running as an independent for the seat being vacated by Dan Foley in 2014.

Leitzell lost the May runoff to Nan Whaley and AJ Wagner.

He tells us he is using Facebook to get the signatures he needs to get his name on the ballot.
