First Lady "calls up" Obama campaign

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — First Lady Michelle Obama made a campaign stop in Dayton Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. Obama was drumming up support for her husband's re-election.

She covered topics from healthcare reform to the economy to her own personal story.

Her speech lasted just shy of 30-minutes. 1,800 people attended.

While she spoke inside the Convention Center, a crowd gathered outside.

Most were there to hear her message and support the Obama campaign.

Mrs. Obama made an earlier stop at a Columbus high school.

Republican challenger Mitt Romney was campaigning at the same time in Reno, Nevada at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Convention.

Romney criticized the media leaks surrounding the death of Osama Bin Laden, calling for an investigation.
